Repair of the Windscreen

It is allowed to repair damages of the windscreen as long as they are not in the long-range
vision section of the windscreen.
It is only allowed to repair damages at the outside surface of the windscreen. It is not
allowed that the inside windscreen and plastic parts have any damages and that moisture
seeped in.
The diameter of the damage is not allowed to be bigger than 5mm.
Radial cracks of the damage are not allowed to be longer than 50mm. They are not allowed
to end in the windscreen rubber weatherseal and to run to the peripheral zone.
The DAIMLER CHRYSLER AG offers a repair of stone impact exclusively in their sales
organisations for a fixed price.
The amount can be included under guide number 1401 (windscreen), the button MUT and
the mutation code IM or alternatively in the mask SP (standard positions).
