SYNOPSIS
NETWORKING PROJECT ANALYSIS AND DESIGN course is designed to cover system
approach to design the network and practice the approach in the physical design,
addressing and routing. The course helps students to understand and apply the network
analysis, design area as well as knowledge process. This course encourages students to
work individually or in a team.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1.

Prepare and use various information gathering techniques for eliciting user
information requirements and system expectations.

2.

Communicate technical information effectively during presentation targeted to the

management audience.

3.

Communicate effectively in project developing team to achieve a productive

collaborative work.

4.

Track the development progress conformance as in the project plan and handle
unexpected issues that might occur during the development stages.

5.

Prepare a concise project proposal and project plan of the network project title.

development life cycle. It also covers the team work qualities and
techniques to manage and improve effectiveness or team work.

PLANNING OF NETWORKING PROJECT

(10 : 10)

This topic covers the project plans and selection of project title.
Students will plan the project systematically using the concepts of
project management.This topic also exposes students to the
preparation and documentation of proposed project paper

3.0

ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF NETWORKING PROJECT

(15 : 15)

This topic covers the fact-finding techniques and technical

requirement analysis to build the project. Students will learn to
develop the logical and physical designs of the project. Students
will also create related documents before compiling their reports.
