I met with Sam when I worked with university students in engineering mechanics at the University of
Alberta.
Sam is an intelligent, capable, personable, and ambitious young man. He is always quick on his feet- an
eager learner, always on the lookout to learn something new and motivated to take up new challenges.
As a student, he has shown his responsibility by completing all his assignments on time with his best
effort. His strong human relations skills enable him to interface very effectively with others including
classmates and professors.
He also participated in engineering project design club, UofA Eco Car, where he gained experience in
manufacturing techniques and solving real-life problems. He possesses the resilience, confidence, and
the drive to manage difficult tasks through my observations of his work and projects. He has the
