As a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at SSN College of Engineering, Chennai, I am writing
with great pleasure to recommend Mr. Ajo Thomas for the Master’s program in your distinguished department.
Below is my assessment of his credentials.

During my association with him, I found Ajo to be a dedicated young man always working hard for deeper
understanding of his subjects. He was my student for the courses- Microprocessors and Microcontrollers,
Advanced Computer Architecture and Microprocessors lab. An active participant in the classroom, he always
asked the right questions. His attentiveness and ability to quickly grasp concepts ensured good grades in class
tests. He was diligent in all the class assignments and meticulously performed all the tasks allotted to him. He
particularly showed keen interest in the lab course and was always willing to research beyond the prescribed
course work. His grades in the lab work are a testament to his capabilities towards the practical application of
concepts.

His interest towards Big Data was evident from our occasional interactions. He was a regular attendee of tech
talks and conferences organized by the department of Computer Science. He exhibited leadership and
organization skills while working for the annual symposium and was in charge for the quiz event. I personally
feel that his overall grades are not a true reflection of his scholastic aptitude and he is capable of much more.

I strongly believe his sound knowledge of fundamentals, a truly remarkable ability to apply theory to practical
situations and a high motivation to keep abreast with the latest information in his field of study will help him in
the field he is pursuing. His reverential attitude towards teachers and camaraderie with his classmates was
admirable.

With his good all-around ability, I am confident that Mr. Ajo Thomas will measure up to the expectation of the
Master’s Degree. I very much agree with his decision to pursue graduate studies and strongly recommend him
for admission and suitable financial assistantship at your University.
