Figure 5

The above and following images show a single tier tank and a single ladder section. Ladder
sections can be bolted in sequence to span from 1 to 9 tier tanks. Joining ladder sections
together is achieved by sliding tapered top of leg inside of lower leg of previous ladder
section, and bolting together using 3/8 bolts and nuts (IMAGE #4).

Figure 3

To attach the ladder to the top of the tank, attach the Ladder Brackets to the Z-Channel
(Figure 2 & 3), by sliding the Ladder Rod through all. Bolt the Brackets to the wall sheet.
Which holes used will depend largely on the diameter of the tank.

TAPERED END

Z-CHANNEL

Figure 4

A ladder section must be reinforced by bolting on a Z-Channel to the underside of each

ladder section (Figure 4). The top and bottom of these Z-Channels are cut at an angle that
ends up roughly parallel to the floor when the ladder is at rest. Assemble ladder segments
by sliding tapered top-of-leg inside of lower-leg of previous ladder segment. Bolt together
using 3/8 x 1 bolts and 3/8 nuts. Simultaneously, attach Z-Channels to the underside of
each ladder segment. Like the ladder segments, the Channels will overlap.

The lowest tier ladder segment

will have 4 of its Z-Channel
extending past the end of the
segment. A Ladder Bracket is
loosely attached to this lowest
section of Ladder Leg and acts
as a foot to prevent puncturing
of the liner. Bolt 2 Ladder
Brackets (Figure 5). Do not over
tighten this connection so that
the bracket can rotate freely
and sit flat on the ground.
