In exercico of tho powers confered by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 9 of the Karnataka Electricity (Taxation on ‘consumption or sale) Act, 1959 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1959), the Government of Karnataka hereby specifies tht ton paise (10 paise) per unit shal be levied and collected as electcly tax on captive consumption of electrty generated by the Captive Power Generating Plant having total installed capacty of above 250 KVA, with immediate effect unl further orders.
