    Focus: Handwriting letter Rr formation


    Learning intention
    We are revising how to form the letter Rr with the correct entry and exit
    point.
    Success criteria
    I can place the letter Rr on the line.
    I can form the letter Rr in upper and lower case correctly.
    I can form the letter Rr with the correct entry and exit point.
    Letters, entry, exit, formation, placement.
    Warm up
    Sort letters into those that have a body and a stick, just a body, or a
    body and a tail.
    Whole class
    Model to students how to write the letter r on the whiteboard using
    lines. Have students come up the front and attempt to write the letter r.
    Individual
    Have students complete handwriting sheet. Write letter r in their new
    lined books.
    Reflection
    Have students share their handwriting sheet.
    ICT
    Students to practice writing r on Doodle Buddy.
