PRIDE AND PREJUDICE

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite love story, which is written by Jane Austen; this
novel start on England in the eighteenth century, in a society with very strict rules
and somewhat eccentric for these days.
The protagonist is a young woman named Elizabeth Bennett, this girl has beauty,
intelligence with strong beliefs for that time, and her family was a little normal
because her lovely mother was crazy about money, and her five sisters were trying
to found a good husband to get married.
Elizabeth was so different, she really wanted find love but at the same time she
was so exigent about that theme; then burst into our history Charles Bingley, a
respected gentleman who just moved to Netherfield with her sisters. The
accompanying best friend Bingley, Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, a man of high status with
an abundant wealth that initially shown antisocial and proud.
The first meeting with our two protagonists is not the most pleasant. The first
impression made by Mr. Darcy in Elizabeth opens the main conflict of the novel.
Mr. Darcy tee off in saying that Elizabeth is "perfectly tolerable" but "not beautiful
enough to tempt him." Unfortunately Lizzie hears and is deeply hurt by that
comment. From here on the story revolves around this conflict.
This attitude of Mr. Darcy is induced by his proud personality; Being a rich man
believes he deserves a woman of the same level but his heart betrays him and
takes him in another direction, in the direction of Elizabeth Bennett. Darcy is
seduced by the cunning and intelligence Lizzie, rather than for their beauty or
status.

But she tries to understand him better but increasingly more aware that she and
Mr. Darcy are from different worlds; Mr. Darcy is also the best friend Charles
Bingley, who was in love with sister lizzie but Mr. Darcy told him not to get married
her because the family just looking for money. When Lizzie hears that was deeply
angry with him cause was his fault that her sister was suffering for love.
The situation got worse when she starts feeling things for him. All started when
Lizzie visited her friend who just got married with her far cousin, they went to the
Lady Catherin House, there she meets Mr. Darcy fiance of course was arranged
marriage. She was the opposite of Lizzie, thats why Mr. Darcy was in love with
Elizabeth.
Elizabeth and Darcy have many meetings in which one might assume that every
time they look, they hate most. That is why the declaration of love Lizzie Darcy
taken by surprise to followers of the story. Although it is a rather peculiar statement:
"Miss Elizabeth, I have fought in vain, and not take it anymore. These months have
been a torment. I came to Rosings only to see it. I fought the opinions,
expectations of my family, the inferiority of their origin, range I leave my side and I
ask to end my agony. "
After this unexpected action, Elizabeth refuses, as it is offended by the fact that
creates incorrect Fitzwilliam love her. But Darcy does not give up and does his best
to make amends and conquer.
Elizabeth, to learn all that Darcy had done for his sake; you really realize this once
proud and generous gentleman has stolen his heart. One night when she could not
sleep, out into the yard and admiring the sunrise, but something in it strange
landscape. A light against identifies the silhouette of a man, and when he realized
that Darcy is the silhouette of her heart leaps.
To this end we can see that not everything is what it seems and before you judge
people you have to know your true feelings and intentions. This is at least what

Elizabeth Bennett learned. As Darcy could say he learned his lesson, realizing that
people are worth more than what they are than for what they carry in their wallet.
So thats the reason I love this story because It has everything from hatred and
bitterness to true love.
