1. Inauguration brief
The works to be inaugurated include newly installed coach guidance
system to facilitate passengers about coach position at platform
number 1,2,3 and 4 at Ghaziabad, water vending machine at
Ghaziabad and solar pumps installed at Muzaffarnagar, Muhiuddinpur,
Khekra and Baghpat.

2. List of work completed in Ghaziabad in last two years

There has been various works completed at Ghaziabad station like
improvement of station building, red stone cladding, wall paneling,
plastering, flooring at station building and improvement to the
circulating

area,

providing

of

signages

in

circulating

area

for

passengers ease. The colonies too have been improved and various
works have been done to improve the conditions of railway staff living
in them. The total cost of these works is approx. 492.42 lakhs.

3. Details of ongoing works at Ghaziabad

There are number of ongoing works like improvement to station
building, provision of wide and aesthetically improved second entry,
improvement to main entry, provision of more platform shelters at P.F
no 4 & 5, repair of platform surfaces, water booths and toilets. The
total costs of these works amount to Rs. 15,483.26 lakhs

4. List of works planned in near future

Lot of works have been planned in near future like improvement to
washable aprons which will improve cleanliness in tracks, provision of
three lifts and two pairs of escalators on Foot over bridges,

improvement of flooring at New Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Murad nagar

stations, and also improvement to platform surfaces at P.F no 3, 4, 5
and 6 of Ghaziabad station so as to improve the infrastructure and
cleanliness. The total costs of these planned works is approx. 8,801
lakhs
