    Only in my dreams can I be real,


    Where my spirit could run free
    And unleash the deepest longings
    My heart and mind keep holding on deeply.

    A life with no boundaries and limitations,


    Where I could set my heart free.
    To feel the love and happiness of togetherness,
    That can only happen in my dreams.

    There my world would be brighter,


    And all my wishful thinking would be true.
    Enjoying lifes greatest gift,
    Of being with someone I love dearly.

    If only dreams are for real,


    Then my heart would keep on beating.
    And those smiles would no longer fade away,
    Making life full of euphoric fantasy.

    How I wish I would never be awaken,


    From a deep sleep that I cant hold on forever.
    But then reality relentlessly banging at my door,
    Leaving me with no other choice but to open and face it.

    For momentary happiness, I need to fall asleep.


    To take a respite and a breather,
    And be with someone who loves me dearly.
    Fleeting moments, but lasting memories.
    If only dreams could be real.
    If only.
