Game Setup
At the start of the game draw 6 tile cards, then place them on the table to setup your initial board
for playing. The game boards do not need to be lined up exactly next to one another but all roads and
rivers must connect if being placed next to another card with one on it. There are a variety of different
types of cards; some of them are Fields, City, and Urban. These types need to be placed adjacent to one
another. The game board cards are double sided as to make it easier to keep board types together.

The character is your player. They have levels, HP, and an inventory. There are 5 levels and you
start at level 1.

Turns
Your turn consists of 3 phases
1. Moving your character
2. Building
3. Healing
You can do any of these in any order you like. Building must be performed at your bunker or where
you plan on building your bunker.
Movement
To move roll a 6 sided die. You are allowed to move in any direction, including diagonally,
*****Bunkers*****
(Might be removed)
To Build
You must first clear all zombies off the card you want to build on. Then you need all the
supplies that are required to build a bunker. I.e. wood, nails,
Bunkers get attacked randomly every 3 rounds, (1 round is every player taking a turn) at the
end of the second turn you must roll 20 sided die to determine if you get attacked or if you are safe.

Then if you do get attacked you roll the 6 sided die and that is how many zombies spawn
outside of your bunkers walls. I.e. you roll a 4 --- 4 zombies spawn
Layout
The Layout for the bunker is modular in that there are interior pieces that can be arranged
however the player wants them to be.
There are different type of bunker pieces that can be used, just be aware you can only use 4
bunker pieces in your bunker and that once placed they cannot be removed.
Death
3 Levels of difficulty are in the game. Easy medium and hard. Depending on your choice depends if
you have more than 1 life. If a person who is the highest level dies that does not affect the zombie spawn.
If level 4 dies even if no one else is that high of a level Gold zombies can still spawn.

Repairs
To repair a wall all that is needed is the same materials that used in building them.
Lvl 1 and 2 = 2 wood + 8 nails = 3 HP restored
After Lvl 2 you need to add 2 metals to repair.
Lvl 3 and 4 = 2 wood + 8 nails + 2 metal = 3 HP restored
Repair costs stack too, to repair 9HP it would cost 6 wood and 24 nails for lvl 2 walls
Junkyards
All of the items found in the junkyard will have a range on them. You need to determine what you
are going to look for when you go to the junkyard.

Zombies
Zombies are the main enemy of Survive. Zombies are slow but extremely dangerous if youre not
ready for a fight. The zombies Lvl and strength are determined by the color of their base.
Zombie Spawn
These spaces are areas for zombies to spawn on the map. When a player enters a card, if there are
no zombies on it, roll a 6 sided die and the color die. The number you roll will determine how many
zombies spawn and the color showing will determine the strength. If you roll a color that isn't able to
spawn, spawn the highest that can. There are a maximum of 15 zombies allowed in the game at a time.
Movement
Zombies move differently depending on the scenario you are playing. In any mode that doesn't add
the Zombie survival the zombies movement is automatic. They only move when a player is in the same
card or adjacent cards on the play field. They will move one space closer to the nearest player at the end
of that players turn. In the Zombie Survival mode a player takes control of the Zombies and they move a
little differently. If a player is on the same game board of the zombie they may move 2 spaces in the
direction of the nearest player, if no player is close enough then they may only move 1 space in the
direction of the nearest player, regardless of distance.
Zombie Types
There are 4 types of Zombies, Walker, Brute, Super, Elite

* This is the level of the highest player. So if the player with the highest level is 3 then the highest
level zombie that can spawn is Orange (Super).
Zombie Bonus
There is a bonus Zombies can have this is a multiplier for when there are multiple zombies
around each other. So if you are fighting a zombie and it has 1 zombie next to it the zombie youre
attacking will be a little stronger. The health of the zombie will remain the same but it will get a +1 Dmg
for every zombie in a 2 block radius of it.

Attacking
All battles in Survive are determined by dice rolls. Depending on the players level the player will
roll a different amount of die. This chart will explain. Roll number of die and add up total, then Dmg given
is next to that

Damage
When attacking you roll the number of die in accordance with your level, and color of zombie.
Example: Level 2 Player goes up against a yellow Zombie.
The player rolls 1 die and the zombie rolls 1.
You roll a 4 and the zombie rolls a 5
Since the Zombie rolled a higher number it does damage
That means you take TWO Dmg counters.
Now you continue to battle until either you or the zombie dies
In the event of a tie in die the zombie always wins
There are items in the game that can heal you in battle but if you use them you cannot deal
damage that turn. So if you heal and then roll a higher number no damage is done to the Zombie.
Escaping
If you are in a battle you cannot win you may try to escape roll 1 die for you and each zombie in the battle,
your roll needs to be higher than the zombie to escape. If you roll lower you will take a Dmg counter, if it
higher you escape and are moved 2 spaces away from the battle.
Armor
Armor reduces the enemies Dmg when attacking.
No Armor
Heavy Clothes
Football Gear
Riot Gear
+0
+2
+3
+1
So if a Gold zombie were to attack and you had Football Gear on it would reduce it to 6 Dmg instead of 8.
Armor can only be used so many times before it is destroyed. Keep that in mind when scavenging you may
hold onto more than one but only equip one at a time.
Boss Fight
The Boss is the final Battle in the Scenarios Boss Fight and Co-op Boss Fight. This is the only time
the Boss character is in the game. The strength of the Boss is determined by the mode you play, he is
significantly stronger is Co-op than in the regular Boss Fight.
His Stats follow:
Boss Fight
Dmg: 10
HP: 20
HP: 50
Dmg: 12
The Boss will not begin to appear until the first player reaches level 5. So if there are multiple players in
the game you will need to be aware if someone is reaching there so you are not too low of a level.
To spawn roll the 20 sided die and if the roll is in between 18-20 the boss will spawn. It will be placed on
the Furthest Zombie spawn from all players. The boss moves in the same manner as the regular Zombies
do so if a player is on the same game board of the boss it may move 2 spaces, if no player is close enough
then it may only move 1 space in the direction of the nearest player, regardless of distance.
