THE PRIVILEGE TO KNOW

LUKE 10:21-24

Jesus was grateful for Gods revelation to His disciples for not many fully understand who He is
and He stood for. Their childlike dependence on Jesus and sincere eagerness to know more about
Him lead them to a full comprehension of their mission, opening their eyes to the true identify of
Jesus Christ. It was a wisdom like no other. It was something that the Pharisees would never
grasp because of their self-righteousness and pride.

Like His disciples, we too are blessed to have the community and the church teach us about our
faith through the wisdom imparted to Gods priests and clergy. More than theological divine
knowledge, God also gives us the privilege of experiential knowledge seeing and knowing Him
personally through our daily experiences in life.

Let us be thankful and continue to be filled with wonder, like little children, as we seek to know
God more. Let us ask the guidance of the Holy Spirit to assist us in full understanding of His
word, especially through the Holy Eucharist. May we have the willingness of heart to accept the
revelation of Gods plan for our lives.
