Lus Filipe Silvrio Lima, Ph.D. (2005, University of So Paulo),


teaches Early Modern History at Federal University of So
Paulo. He has published extensively on the Portuguese Empire,
and prophetism, including Imprio dos sonhos: narrativas
profticas, sebastianismo e messianismo brigantino (2010).
Ana Paula Torres Megiani, Ph.D (2001, University of So Paulo),
teaches Iberian History at University of So Paulo. Topics that
she has extensively published on include D. Sebastio of Portugal, and the Habsburg influence in Portugal, Spain and their
Empires between 15801650.
