‘Summary
On 12Nov12 at 1950 hours, | was working as OPD patrol unit 2L19. | responded to a report of a burglary.
Upon arrival at @JJMB 15th St, | contacted (JqgI'V1) who said the following
(On tonight's date (12Nov12) at approximately 1655 hours, V1 was sleeping in the rear bedroom of his residence.
The doors were locked and no one was supposed to enter the residence with the exception of his room mates.
V1 was awoken by the sound of some one knocking on the front door. V1 laid in his bed for a few minutes untl
he heard a loud noise coming from the rear door of the residence.
V1 heard the sound of foot steps coming toward his room. Someone attempted to turn the door handle to V1's
bed room door, but was unable to open the door because it was locked.
V1 yelled "who is it" several times. V1 waited a few minutes and then opened his door.
V1 walked through his residence and noticed that the back door was open and the frame was broken. The front
door was open. V1 walked into the rear yard and noticed that the security bars on the window were bent.
cell phone (loss 1) was taken from the dining room table.
| observed that two of the security bars on the rear bedroom window were bent. The left frame on the back door
was broken and splintered. The top lock and latch on the door was broken.

Unknown susp(s) attempted to force entry into V1's residence without his permission by using a pry tool to bend
the security bars on the rear bedroom window. The susp(s) used body force to break the back door. Susp(s)
entered the residence, took loss then fled through the front door when it was realized that V1 was inside the
residence.
No known witnesses located or interviewed
No tech was ordered because there were no apparent printable surfaces.
(QRERMIB @1hised that his l-phone (loss) was a company phone. He did not know the phone number, serial
number and he did not have tracking software.
