Charles Babbage created the Analytical Engine in the late 1860s
The Analytical Engine was basically a calculator, it could add and subtract
In December of 1941 the Z3 calculator was created that used a binary system. It was

based on Boolean Logic

Atanasoff decided to create a computer since he was tired of crunching numbers
manually. He completed it in 1942; it was called the ABC and it was very hard to

program
The Harvard Mark 1 was another computer that could be programmed and it was an

extremely huge computer. Later, Mark 2 and Mark 3 were created

The ENIAC was then created; it was a computer or a super calculator. The computer was
also huge as it filled a room. It took a huge amount of electricity to run it. It was

completed in 1946
So far there is no official (agreed upon) first computer
EDVAC was another computer; it was a stored program computer
The Manchester Mark 1 was a computer that is considered the first runnable

programmable computer
Some historians consider the EDSAC the first stored program computer
BINAC, the first stored program computer in the U.S; used for military purposes;

actually 2 computers
UNIVAC was the first generally purpose electronic stored computer. First computer with

a magnetic tape drive

In 1953 the model 701was announced by IBM. It was called an electronic data processing

machine
IBM released a model 704 with FORTRAN which allowed the user to program the

computer themselves
PDP1, the worlds first small computer using transistors

month\week
More mini computers were created and started to become popular
This is when Apple and Microsoft become large companies. Both began working on

computers. The Apple was the first colorized computer.

DAWS
Computers were now over sold and not user friendly
Apple then created the MAC with new user friendly features and a mouse
IBM then came up with Windows
