    The Simpson family has a typical daily routine. [1] Homer works at the nuclear power plant and eats doughnuts at work while Mr. Burns ignores it, then goes to Moe's bar to drink beer with friends before coming home for dinner. [2] Marge wakes up early to make breakfast, goes shopping, picks up Bart and Lisa from school, and watches TV with Homer at night. [3] Bart wakes up late, goes to school by bus where he plays tricks on Principal Skinner, but doesn't often study in the afternoon as he plays with Milhouse, while Lisa happily goes to school where she studies hard and participates in extracurriculars, sometimes helping her mom with chores.
