Puto Lanson

Ingredients
2 cups Cassava, grated
4 Tbsp. Brown sugar
1/2 cup young coconut, grated
Salt
Margarine (or butter)
How to make Puto Lanson
Using a cheesecloth, squeeze out the juice of the grated cassava. Set aside.
Mix the grated cassava with brown sugar and add grated young coconut. Mix well.
Stuff the mixture in a mold with holes at the bottom.
Steam for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked.
Let it cool for 5 minutes before removing from the mold.
Serve with margarine (or butter) as toppings.

Linagpang na Bangus
Ingredients
1 whole bangus, sinugba/inihaw/broiled with skin on
2 whole onions, sliced
4 big tomatoes, sliced
Onion leaves (garnish)
Salt
2-3 cups boiling/hot water
How to make Linagpang na Bangus
Flake broiled bangus, into "bite size" pieces.
Mix with onions and tomatoes.
Add boiling water and "sort of mix with force to bring out the flavors and juices".
Season with salt and garnish with onion leaves.
Serve hot.

While this recipe is for bangus, other fishes can also be used like tilapia, catfish and
other fishes that can be broiled with scales on.
The recipe can be tweaked to suit your taste like adding chilies/siling labuyo for a
spicy broth. Others also broil the tomatoes and onions before slicing them. Some
recipes add ginamos to the broth and give it a saute before adding water and
bringing it to a boil.
Ingredients
CAKE
1 Packed (454 G) frozen grated cassava
1/4 Cup cocoa powder
4 Tablespoon sugar
3 Tablespoon melted butter
1 Cup evaporated milk
1/2 Cup condensed milk
TOPPINGS
1 Packet (28g) hot chocolate mix
1/4 Cup evaporated milk
1/4 Cup condensed milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 f, and lightly grease the desired baking pan.
In a large bowl, combine the grated cassava, cocoa powder, sugar, condensed milk,
evaporated milk and melted butter.
Mix thoroughly until even in consistency.
Pour into the desired greased pans, bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes.
Combine hot chocolate mix in evaporated milk, blend until completely combined.
Add-in condensed milk, mix thoroughly until even in consistency.
Pour on top of cooked cassava cake, bake the cake for another 15 minutes.
Run a thin-bladed knife or a metal spatula, Around the edges to loosen.
Cooking Tips
Before baking, make sure to mix all of the ingredients together.
Adding the amount of sugar, depends on the desired taste.

Baking time is approximately and depend on oven temperature , check occasionally


to avoid burn.
