Dear Potential Supporter,
It is with great sincerity that we ask community supporters, much like yourself, to
join Antelope Valley High School Lopes Cheer as an Official Lope Supporter.
Together, we can reach a community whose spirit and pride has grown for over a
century.
Antelope Valley High School has overcome many challenges and ultimately is
shining through obstacles. In efforts to continue a positive and thriving school
community, AVHS Lopes Cheer has committed to establish and set standards above
any that have ever been set before.
Currently, our team is composed of 30 young women whose aspiration is to change
the negative stigma that has belittled the role of a cheerleader. They have
committed to establish a program in which the will learn and practice characteristics
of a positive and influential role model. From day one, they have demonstrated that
they are willing to work hard and dedicate themselves to overcoming challenges.
Cheer gear and training is quite costly; it ranges anywhere from $500 to $1000 per
girl. As for the pep squad, we are aiming to raise about $300 to start the year and
hopefully keeping our projected cost to less than $500. We are budgeting,
fundraising, and reaching out to our community in hopes of any support we can
acquire.
By joining our efforts, you will become a powerful movement that will transcend
past the school community, which is rich in history and valor. Your support will
provide a platform in which we can reach former AVHS Alumni. Most importantly,
your support will fortify positive self-esteem and pride for the current youth within
our community.
Please consider a sponsorship or fundraising opportunity with Antelope Valley High
School Lopes Cheer. Our booster club does have a tax identification number which
would be more than happy to prepare a letter with upon receiving sponsorships.
United we can develop extraordinary promotional opportunities and raise mutual
