Lonely Landy

One day, there was a porcupine named Landy. His body was full of
spikes, so that no one wants to be his friend. He was lonely.
Everywhere he went, no one wanted to play with him.
Cici : Dear Landy, we dont want to play with you because your
spikes are too sharp. We dont need you to hurt us.
Tito : Cici is right, Landy. It is not because youre bad or rude to us,
no, Landy. Just because of your spikes. They will stab us if we are
close to you.
Landy felt lonely. And then, he spent most of the time day dreaming
at the river bank. He felt that his life would be better if there were no
spikes in his body. Suddenly, Kuku the turtle appeared from the river.
Kuku saw Landy sitting daydreaming not far from him. Kuku was
curious and he came to Landy.
Landy : I would be happy if there were no spikes on my body.
Kuku : Landy, what are you thinking of?
Landy : oh, nothing.
Kuku : Dont lie to me, Landy! Who knows I can help you.
Landy : ok, um.. arent you bothered with many spikes on my body?
Kuku : why? Im not bothered at all. Each of us surely have a
characterized.
Landy : really? But they say the spikes on my body might hurt them.
Thats why they get away from me.
Kuku : they are just unfamiliar with your spikes. They dont know if
spikes in your body can be used to protect themselves from
danger.
Landy : I think so, Kuku.
Kuku : they will realize it someday, trust me!
One day, Koko the frog held his birthday party. He invited all his
friends, including Landy. But Landy decided not to come. He didnt
want to mess up the party.

Koko : hi guys! I have a birthday party this night. I hope all of you can
attend to my party.
Cici : ah really? Its been a long time I was not invited to the birthday
party.
Koko : make sure you come up, Cici.
Tito : I also will come to your birthday party, Koko. Prepare a delicious
meal for me, hahaha.
Koko : sure!
Cici : but, wait..! did you also invite Landy to your party?
Tito : I dont want to come if Landy took part.
Cici : me too! I was so afraid with his spikes.
Koko : Im sure he will not come though I invited him. So, dont worry
guys.
Kuku : you shouldnt be said like that, guys! If Landy heard it, he will
be sad.
Tito : Im sorry, Kuku.
Kuku : (run to Landy)
Kuku : Ill come with you, Landy. Ill tell everyone that youre
harmless.
Landy : thankyou very much, Kuku. You are my bestfriend.
After being forced by Kuku, finally Landy come to the party. Some of
them are not aware of Landy. Everyone enjoy the party. But suddendy
Tito screamed.
Tito : help.. help!! The evil wolf is coming! Save yourself!
Then, everyone saved their lives, except Kuku and Landy. Kuku
pulled his head and his leg into his shell. And Landy rolled his body
into a ball.
Evil Wolf : Ill kill you all!
Landy : please dont kill us!
Evil wolf : (touch Landy)
Landy : nooo!!!

Evil Wolf : ouch! What is that? Ohh my feet are bleeding! It really
hurts! (run away)
All : horrayy.. horray!! Long live Landy! He saved our lives!
Tito : thank you Landy, youre so amazing!
Koko : if you not here, maybe who came in my party was die.
Cici : Im sorry if this long I dont appreciate you.

Finally, they thanked him from then on. And Landy, he wasnt lonely
anymore.
Moral : we dont underestimate someones bad physical appearance
and we must appreciate them.
