Dear All,

At the time of cannula removal or after every dressing staff should follow the following:
Should carry a tray containing Alcohol swab
Ether
Handrub
Hansiplast Band-aid (Small round one)
Step - 1

If patient is having Tegaderm Dressing remove it gently by applying pressure

If patient is having Paper tape Dressing, apply Handrub around the dressing & then
remove gently
Step - 2 Apply pressure with alcohol swab still bleeding stop
Step - 3 Clean the adjacent area with Ether
Step - 4 Apply Hansiplast Band-aid (Small round one).
Note: For other any dressing (Surgical or Pressure ulcer) - Adjacent area should be cleaned with
Ether swab after every dressing.
This is for the strict compliance.
