    To activate the Tamil language interface in LibreOffice on a BOSS system, run sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get install libreoffice-l10n-ta in the terminal to install the necessary Tamil packages. After installation, select Tamil from the Languages → User Interface drop down menu in Tools → Options. Restarting LibreOffice will display the entire interface in Tamil.

    Activating Tamil Office in BOSS

    To install Tamil Office in BOSS , open terminal and run


    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install libreoffice-l10n-ta
    This will connect to the repository and install the necessary Tamil packages in BOSS.
    Once it is installed close all the existing opened Office documents and start the application again.
    Now go to Tools Options

    In the window , go to Languages User Interface . Click on the drop down menu and choose
    Tamil from the list.

    Once selected Tamil as the language , click on OK and confirm the language.

    Now close all the opened Office documents and start the Libreoffice again.

    Now the whole interface is changed to Tamil language.
