Management

Course Introduction

The main objective of the course is to provide the students with

a sound understanding of the concepts, techniques, and


applications of production and operations management.
At the end of the course students are expected to be able to:

Identify strategic areas in operations and propose solutions

Manage inventories

Plan capacities and identify critical resources

Make production plans and operations schedules

Define and reformulate layouts

Understand the main ideas of Just-In-Time
