CLASS REQUIREMENT PER WEEK:

Lectures

The key material for the subject is based on the required textbook. Additional handouts,
readings and course materials will be available on-line via Blackboard.

The lecturer will use projector but just as there is no need to attempt to take down every
word spoken, there is also no need to transcribe all content of slides. Notes should be
taken on the main themes, and then expanded afterwards in conjunction with the
textbook and any other recommended materials.

Tutorials

Attending and participating in tutorials is compulsory. Tutorial times are to be organized

in the first lecture. Tutorials will commence thereafter.

Tutorials are considered a significant component in the teaching of the subject. Tutorials
will consist of exercises, case studies, and questions to reinforce the lecture content.
Students are required to complete all specified reading and other tasks BEFORE the class,
and be prepared to participate fully in class discussions.

Students will be required to present a case study of approximately 30 minutes duration at

a date to be established in the first tutorial.
