3rd Grade ELA Homework Routine

This is the weekly homework routine through October. If you are absent, please
do the homework for that day. Keep in mind that it is subject to change based
on the class lessons and your child is responsible for copying the correct
homework.
Check and sign all homework daily! Your support is greatly appreciated!
Monday:
1. Spelling: Spelling words #1-10 three times each
2. Reading: Read for 20 mins with stamina. Write a reading response. (5
sentences or more with text details)
Tuesday:
1. Spelling: Pyramid words #1-10
2. Reading: Read for 20 mins with stamina. Write a reading response. (5
sentences or more with text details)
Wednesday:
1. Spelling: Colorful words #1-10 (2 colors = 1 color for vowels (AEIOUY) + 1
color for consonants)
2. Reading: Read for 20 mins with stamina. Write a reading response. (5
sentences or more with text details)
Thursday:
1. Spelling: Study for spelling and vocabulary test
2. Reading: Read for 20 mins with stamina. Write a reading response. (5
sentences or more with text details)
Friday
1. Spelling: Fix spelling and vocabulary mistakes 5 times each. Vocabulary
write the sentence with the correct word 5 times.
2. Reading: Read for 20 mins with stamina. Write a reading response. (5
sentences or more with text details)
