Abstract: the recent studies have shown

that the glass fibres can be a very good
replacement of cement in concrete
industries. The glass fibers have very good
cementious properties thus they can be used
as a substitute mateial for the cement. The
production of cement accompane with a
large amount of carbon dioxide gas which is
not good for the environment thus replaceing
cement by glass fibers has a good impact on
the environment too. Also nowdays the glass
industry is facing a disposal problem related
to glass waste. The this study is beneficial for
both the industries
In this study the cement is replaced by glass
fibers in the varying percentage of
0%,10%,20%,30%,40% and 50% by weight of
cement. The test are performed on these
varying percentages and observatios are
recorded. After this a M30 grade of concrete
is made with the same amount of varying
percentages and values are recorded. The

final results are shown with the help of tables

and graphs.
