California Bearing Ratio Test Apparatus

The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) Test apparatus

meets the requirement of IS: 2720.
AIM 120 is supplies with a motorized Load Frame of
capacity 50 KN, with three constant rates of strain
possible by changing the gears.
Open ended cylinder mould is used with an internal
diameter of 150mm and height of 175 mm.

In the penetration Test, A chosen force is applied over a
given area for a known period of time and the depth of
penetration is measures in of a millimetre.

Film Stripping Device

The film stripping test is used to measure the resistance of
bituminous mixture to stripping of asphalt from the aggregate
particles.
The test is applied to the aggregate fraction passing the 9.5 mm
sieve and retained on 2.36 mm sieve sieve.
