This is the last week
before Fall Break! We will
finish assessing for
report cards this week.
Report Cards will be sent
home after break. I am so
proud of the progress
each child has made!

Volunteer Calendar! We
are still in need of
volunteers to make
stations successful. Please
consider signing up and
asking a family member to
help volunteer!
This week we are having
a fundraiser for United
Way to help raise money
for education and the
community. Please send
in $1 with your child to
participate in Spirit
Week and help
contribute to the
fundraiser!

Language arts skills to be
covered this week:
We will read non-fiction
and fiction books about
pumpkins. We will read 5
Little Pumpkins and
introduce a reading
strategy called visualizing
(putting a picture in your
mind).

**Home Activity
Suggestion: Read a book
together at home and dont
show your child the
pictures. Tell them to draw
a picture of what the words
made them see in their
mind.
