Preload Requirements: Total Elevated Load - 20,400 Kips Total Elevated Load Per Leg — 6,800 Kips Total Variable Load - 10,031 Kips Allowable Operating / Storm Variable Variable Load — 6,000 Kips Note: This “fixed” variable load will apply for all scenarios instead of the values published in the nomograms contain in the Operations Manual. Variable includes drill loads as defined in Section 1.11.4 of the Operations Manual. This change has been included in Revision 11 of the calculation spreadsheet for Rig 127. While in use, a copy of this letter shall be placed in the front of the Operations Manual for reference. With the above noted preload, on a location with water depth of 150’, the corresponding spud can bearing pressure is 7.11 kips/ft®.
