Letter of Recommendation

As a Lecturer of department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), I am writing to you

in support Mr. Jahidul Islam and his desire to attend your esteemed university for his graduate
study in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program. I have known him for almost three
years as an undergraduate student of EEE at American International University-Bangladesh
(AIUB). Though many students ask me to make this request on their behalf, I only recommend
students whom I feel are well-suited for the program of their choice. Mr. Jahidul Islam is one of
those students. I highly recommend without hesitation he be given the opportunity to attend your
esteemed university.
First of all, I'd like to tell you that Mr. Jahidul is one of the most excellent students whom I have
met in our department. Impressed by his versatility, I am also especially touched by his
conscientious way of study and splendid academic records. Mr. Jahidul had done his final year
project-Transmission Line Fault Detection Using Android Application Via
Bluetooth, during Summer, 2013-2014 semester, under my guidance and as his project
adviser, I have observed and monitored him at close quarters. Though he has consistently
exceeded in all areas, one of the best example of his promise is indicated on this project. The
work clearly showed his ability to deliver a clear, concise and well-thought presentation. He
scored 90, impressing many teachers.
I feel confident that Mr. Jahidul has strong motivation to work with a new engineering project. I
found him always sincere to complete his work in the shortest time period. He is a hard working
young man with an amicable personality and I strongly believe he will purse with excellence in
the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
At the end, I would like to summarize Mr. Jahidul as a promising student who is confident, and
intelligent. I believe he will further advance his understandings and continue to prove successful
in his future pursuit in the field and gain more valuable experience in practices. Therefore, I
