UCLA vs. ASU - October 7th, 2016

THE DIRT

Today, your #18 UCLA Bruins (11-3) play the Arizona State University (ASU) Sun Devils (7-10) in the
illustrious Pauley Pavilion. Heres the dirt that The Den uncovered on ASEWWWW:

Their team: ASUs Womens Volleyball team is 10-69 when facing UCLA. 10-69. My goodness, are they even
trying? The Spanish-American War was less lopsided than this historical matchup. To top it all off, their team has
as many national championships as their school has meaningful degrees: zero.
Their state: Is Arizona even a state? It might just be a collection of disgruntled bigots with a bizarre passion for
cacti. Every inch of Arizonas infertile and scorching landscape, from the beige homes-disguised-as-warehouses
to the equally beige desert sand, is objectively hideous. Living in a kitchen oven would be more glamorous. If
you move to this barren hellhole, your life will consist of trying to avoid both death by heat stroke and social
encounters with your racist neighbors.
Their school: With ASUs acceptance rate at
an astounding 83%, youd have a harder time
getting admitted into your own home than into
their school. But why go to ASU when you can
just become an alcoholic and avoid all academic
activities? It will basically be the same experience
without having to spend $40,000+ or live in hells
sandbox.

If ASU fans
could read this,
they would be
offended.

Their students: ASU students brag that their school is ranked #1 in the nation for innovation. What they
wont tell you is that 99% of that innovation is from their fans pioneering new ways to showcase their immorality.
You really cant name anything abominable that ASU students havent done: theyve heckled multiple coaches
about their dying wives, theyve taunted a rival player about the assassination of his father, and theyve chanted
racial slurs at opponents on numerous occasions. Clearly the average Scum Devil has the moral compass of a
rabid weasel, but what do you expect? They dont teach anything at their clown car of a university, let alone ethics.

When an opposing player serves the ball into the net, yell: 1-2-3: Who put that net there!?
When an opposing player serves the ball out of bounds, yell: Play number 1: serve the ball out of bounds,
dummy!

The Den Operations Club

Our mission, as leaders of the student section, is to promote student sport culture on campus, enhance the
in-game experience across sports, and increase student attendance in order to support Bruin teams and create
memorable experiences for students. We work closely with UCLA Athletics and our duties range from preserving
school traditions at games to developing marketing strategies for the biggest athletic events. If you bleed blue and
