BIT OBJECTIVES
1. To develop quality skilled technicians and professional technologist in their chosen field of
specialization (Automotive and Electrical Technology) as agents in attaining the national
objectives
(NIC-hood status).
2. To promote a responsive, morally, culturally and globally competitive professional and
leaders.
3. To equip students with knowledge and skills necessary for technical vocational instruction,
entrepreneurship and industrial and service shop management.
4. To elevate the morale of manual labor by educating the youth with quality technological
education
and skills development and;
5. To provide students with adequate industrial training and seminars to cope with the rapid
changes in technology.

Course Description:
This course provides a sound basic knowledge of electrical practice which will also be
valuable to the other trades in the construction industry, particularly those involved in
multiskilling activities.
General Objective
To provide students simple introduction to electrical theory and practice.
Specific Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
