Sample Answer
Yesterday, I witnessed an accident while going out for a walk. I watched in horror as a
boy darted across the road on his bicycle.
Then, I heard a loud screech as a motorcyclist swerved to avoid the boy. Unfortunately,
he could not stop in time. The boy fell off his bicycle and the motorcyclist skidded across the
road. Traffic quickly came to a halt. Several people at the bus stop rushed to aid the injured. A
few people got out of their vehicles to help too.
The motorcyclist walked to the side of the road. His elbows were bleeding. The boy was
crying and his knees were bleeding. I felt sad when I saw them in pain. Then, the ambulance
arrived and took them to the hospital.
As I walked home, I realised that the accident could have been prevented. We should
not try to cycle across the road just because there arent many vehicles. We should wait our
turn at the traffic lights and only cross the road when it is safe to do so.
