My town

This is a picture
of my grandfather
fishing with his
friends!!!

My family lives in a small town by the sea. My grandparents

say it is very different from when they were younger. There
used to be three cinemas and one theatre, but now theres
only one cinema and no theatre at all. My grandfather says
that there didnt use to be any warehouses and factories on the main road by the beach. There were
only a few houses there, and he used to go fishing with his school friends in a river nearby every
weekend.
The big motorway is new, too. My granddad doesnt like it. He gets peeved off with all the noise, he
just cant stand the noise from all the cars, buses and trucks. He says cities are becoming concrete
jungles! He also told me that they didnt use to have any recycling bins near each neighborhood.
However, he believes its a good idea and now hes really into recycling.
When I was younger I didnt use to visit him very often but now I visit him every weekend. Hes good
fun and always tells me stories from the good old times.
