Transportation in Colombia is given by different entities that depends on the Ministry of Transport
and entities such as the Unit for Energy Planning, the Ministry of Mines and Energy,
environmental authorities and other entities of state level, where a total of 203,392 km of roads
are in good condition and comply with established regulations, made for the benefit of people
and to carry goods or cargo. Given this it is known that the communication roads are paths and
routes where there is the flow of vehicles, and transport from one place to another connecting
towns and cities with streets, avenues, highways, bridges and tunnels.
Now, for the benefit of the Yacuanquer community and easy movement of Nario municipality to
the capital thereof, a communication path between these will be made; this will be a road
secondary for connecting a municipal seat with a primary or national road which in this case will
connect with Route 25 or the Pan American highway, passing through mountainous terrain with
transverse slopes between 13 and 40 where you will have to do earthwork in construction,
and where the design speed, will also take into account the design plan of the axis of the road,
the geometric design of the level and slope road, and quality assurance design geometric,
design life.
it is necessary to achieve this via well structured communication bridges to exceed two existing
rivers in the area, where a proper execution of the work is carried out, taking into account
vehicles beyond this, the resistance of the same, manufacturing materials, assembly and
planning of the work.
Yacuanquer is a municipality in the department of Nario with 9965 inhabitants, rich in flora and
fauna and the variety of climates, neighbor galleys volcano and with an area of 110 square
kilometers, where part of its territory remains the park flora and fauna galleys where are born
different streams, has a pretty broken or mountainous topography surrounded by hills and
mountains, listed as a high risk area, at an altitude of 2670 meters above sea level, there is only
land routes, and there are 25 km of road reaching the city of Pasto which is the capital of the
department of Nario, this distance can go in the 39 min in a private car.
