The Dangers of Ignorance
Timmy is such a wonderful kid, he always gets good grades, never gets in trouble, he
never lies to anyone of us, and he has the up most respect for women. said Timmy parents to
one of their closest friends the Wilson family. However, what they did not know was that Timmy
was dating the next door neighbors daughter, Becky. Timmy hid this from his parents because
he did not want to ruin his image that they had of them. They have been dating for almost a year
now and Timmy wanted to move forward in the relationship to more of an intimate relationship.
However, Becky did not feel ready for it and consistently to him to wait until she felt ready in the
relationship. One day they were in Timmys room there was on the walls were nothing but
trophies, diplomas, and other awards for good citizenship. He told her he wanted to have sex but
she told him that she would rather relax and enjoy the night. He refused to listen to her and
drugged her drink and forced him onto her.
In the morning, Becky parents with the police were outside Timmy house saying that he
raped Becky. Timmy parents said that is absurd that Timmy could never be capable of doing such
a thing. The police proceeded to go inside and arrest Timmy which he denied all accusation that
he raped her. Ultimately, the evidence came in and found out that she had drugs in her system
and he was arrested. Timmy parents refused to accept the results and they said that Becky parents
were jealous of Timmy and they wanted to ruin his life.

During court, Timmys parents accused the parents of Becky of wanting to get some
money out of Timmys family. However, the judge ultimately ruled that Timmy was guilty of
rape and sexual assault. Timmys parents were furious with the decision and started to claim that
the judge was part of the plan all along. That they were all jealous of Timmys future. They
started to become paranoid and began to become insane.
One day, Timmys father had enough and decided to take matters into his own hands. He
got his gun and killed the Becky and her family. The father was sentence to life in prison and the
mother committed suicide. Because of their ignorance they could not see that Timmy was
capable of doing such a thing. In the end ignorance kills all of everyone whether it is our fault or
the ignorance of someone else. They paid the price of not accepting that people are not who they
think they are even if the person is young family.
