Zaenal Arifin. 2015. Development of App Inventor Application
Based on Android as Learning Media on Electronic Fuel Injection System Subject for Class XI Students Majoring Automotive, SMK Negeri 1 Singosari, Thesis, Education Automotive Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Malang. Supervisor: (I) Sumarli, H. Drs., M.Pd., MT, (II) Syamsul, Drs.,M.Pd. Keywords: applications app inventor, android, electronic fuel injection system. . Utilization of android-based learning media especially in a learning process of learning is very important, because with the use of instructional media will be able to stimulate the mind, skill and feelings of students. This could be a solution to the lack of learning motivation in SMK Negeri 1 Singosari especially electronic fuel injection materials. For class XI Light Vehicle Engineering Department is a very important matter because it relates to the implementation of the industry working practices (PRAKERIN) they will execute, for this is still less or even no additional lessons or provision for students to face PRAKERIN, especially with material related closely with the development of the industry one of the materials electronic fuel injection. In the implementation of PRAKERIN besides necessary physical and mental readiness also required readiness of the material. With the potential of android-based mobile phone users reaching 90% make this medium development potential. The purpose of this research is to develop self-learning media using the app inventor android based application on electronic fuel injection subjects, and to determine the feasibility of instructional media and the responses from students that are expected to be one of the sources of learning and providing for students to deepen subject Development of instructional media is using the method of Dick and Carey (1978). With the development steps as follows: (1) analysis; (2) design; (3) development; (4) the implementation; (5) evaluation. Where data collection using questionnaire techniques and obtain quantitative and qualitative data. On research and development has produced an application namely application inventory based-android as a media of learning subjects electronic fuel injection with name Best. From the results of the test media by experts and the research subjects were obtained the following results: (1) of media experts, obtained an average value of 4.6; (2) of material experts ii
obtained an average score of 4.2; (3) of the research subjects are
students obtained a total score of 4204. Based on the criteria for the validity of Khabibah in Prasetya (2012), to the average value x 4,50 x 5, means very feasible, to the average value x 3,50 x 4,50 means feasible, whereas for the total score obtained from students 3539-4371 mean good or decent. It can be concluded that the learning media can be used.
