She has cemonetrated good teamwork by helping other students and staff when she was available. Katya has cared for a veriety of patients with varied medical diagnosis including: total knee replacement, multiple fractures, hip fracture repair with heparin erip, lumber laminectomy, chronic pain, acute renal failure, and ORIF of tibifib. She demonstrated good infection control skils. | Katya has performed multiple skills during this rotation including: basie patient ADL cere, discontinuing a Foley catheter, medication administration via a vatiety of routs including oral, SQ, dermal patch and IV. She worked with an {ce Man unit. pertormed a bladder sean and demonstrated patient teaching including incentive spirometer and pain control techniques. She worked with a Russian speaking patient and was able to make the patient and family more comfortable by communicating in their language. Katya has shown a desire to leam as much as possible and a wilingness io improve. She graciously takes all assignments and works to achieve the best outcome for the patient using her critical thinking skills. She demonstrated Safe nursing practice and refused to follow unsafe instructions by a staff member.
