NOVEMBER 2016 Volume 11

November is a time for thankfulness. The school year is in

full swing, the weather is starting to cool, the elections will
soon be over, we are finally able to reap what was sown, and
we see the fruit of our labors. And we have had a bountiful
harvest. Lords Acre is coming to a close and Lords Harvest
is approaching. The children who participate in WWW are
looking forward to singing and participating in worship, and for many of us, as this
month comes to a close, we will be celebrating with our families.
Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays, and not just because of the food. It is because it is a time when we are able to come together and
celebrate all that God has provided for us. Too often, we focus on what is lacking,
this is a time to rejoice and be glad surrounded by those people who love us.
Take the time to reach out and invite someone to church with you. Take the
time to visit someone who you havent seen in a while. Take the time to pick up the
phone and call that person who is weighing on your heart. Give thanks for all that
God has provided, especially the people in your lives you dont get to see quite as
often as you should.
