Lets start with the Mudumalai National Park near Coimbatore, Coimbatore is
known as 'the Manchester of India' and is located on the banks of the Noyyal
River. It is the gateway to some of the loveliest locations in our country. The
Mudumalai National Park is home to diverse species of animals and has also
been declared as a tiger reserve.
2. 2. Kodaikanal if you really want to 'chill', Perched on a beautiful lake,
Kodaikanal spreads up and down the hillsides with sudden bursts of shola
forest. Kurinji Andavar, Bryant's Park, Pillar's Rock, Coaker's Park, Green
Valley View Point, Telescope House, Silent Valley View, Star Shaped Kodai
Lake and Chettiar Park are amongst a few must visit places here.
3. The magnificent Munnar is absolutely picturesque, Munnar is South India's
largest tea-growing region, covered by lush green tea plantations, contoured
and sculpted like ornamental hedges. A visit to the Photo Point, Elephant
Arrival Spot, Shooting Spot and Echo Point is a must.
4. Don't miss the Mattupetty Dam at Munnar, just one day is not enough to
witness the grandeur and beauty of Munnar. However, if you have just a
single day in hand then do visit the Tea Museum, Nyayamakad Waterfalls,
Anamudi View, Eravikulam National Park, Blossom Park, Pothamedu View,
plantations of cardamom, coffee and pepper and Atukkad Waterfalls
5. 5. The trip is not complete without Kochi, the magical city, Kochi is
mysterious, magical and diverse. Dutch and Portuguese heritage, temples
and churches, art galleries, beautiful streets which depict a mix of Kerala and
foreign architecture, the beaches and the theme parks are a huge hit
amongst the travellers.
