It helps us work with the agencies to resolve the issue. The agencies had been directing people to make appointments without explaining that reverification does not require an appointment. Customers who have participated in the programs in the past are required to reverify their information with documentation. They can mail in or drop off the documentation and application. They do not need an appointment. This was creating a log jam. We are working with the agencies to better inform and serve the customers. One step by the Akron agency is already on their website: httpi/www.ascainc.org/energy.htm! Below is the grant amount the agencies received to administer the energy assistance over the last five years. Penny
