    TERRORISM SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED THROUGH RELIGIOUS LENS

    Summary
    -Terrorist attack by ISIS and Kurdish Worker Party struck fear into international community
    - However this attacks are always viewed through a religious lens
    Consequences:
    - Unnecessary Tension between religious groups (aka Muslim vs non-Muslim)
    - Hinder the counter-terrorism measures
    - Muslim are being grouped with extremist and subjected to discrimination (aka Donald Trump
    banning Muslim from America)
    Facts:
    -Condemnation of terrorism by all religious groups is expected as no religious group would
    condone violence
    - All religion values life

    So finding the right solution


    Current measures:
    1.Empowering religious scholars (assuming they have legitimacy in the society and can
    speak on behalf of Muslim)
    Limi: Scholars do not have capacity to discuss complex problems in the world and to
    counter terrorism one must possess these knowledge
    Sol: Preach what is correct Islam and wrong Islam
    2.Scholars should concentrate more on the religious orientation
    - look at religious in a right and wrong way
    3. Religious leaders to be more assertive
    Words: Preach, erroneous and modus
