Dutch mental house in Wolfheze

Tips for making the paper building:

base

- Print the file on heavy weight paper (e.g.

200 g/m) and wait to dry.
- Use a sharp and pointed knive to cut out
the faces of the building along a (metal)
ruler.
- Mark the folding lines and use a knive to
make a light groove on the white inside
of the buildingfaces.
- Fold the buildingfaces and use your nail
to make it as sharp as possible.
- Make the corners square. Fit the
building together and check how it looks.
- Cut out the base or preferably a piece of
cardboard or extruded polystyrene foam
(Styrofoam) and glue the walls around it.
- Check how the roof fits and fold it
accordingly.
- You can glue the roof on top of the walls
or leave it unglued so it will be
detachable. In that last case use two
triangular pieces of cardboard/
styrofoam and glue it on the inside of the
roof to make it sturdy.
- Attach chimneys and other details as
desired.
- You might want to spray a matt varnish
onto the building for protection.
