WW2 Generator unit 02 Re-commissioning Report

Reinstallation and Alignment

Synchronization
All electrical equipment such as exciter, rotor and stator insulation resistance
values checked before synchronization. All values were high.
Electrical control and protection circuits were checked before synchronization.
Minor repair was done in 6300V vacuum circuit breaker.
Generator unit 02 was successfully synchronized after verifying all are perfect.

Observation
Generator unit 02 was energized up to 500kW and continuously energized 30
minutes according to water availability.
It has been observed that there were not significant error but trust bearing
temperature was proportionally increased with load.

Conclusion
Generator unit 02 should be energized its rated power and check all condition
again.
Trust bearing should be adjusted for proper running condition of generator.
