    Installation Guide for Encad Ink Cartridge Chip Decoder

    1.

    Currently we offer two chip decoders for Encad, please see the compatible models as below:

    Compatible with Encad NovaJet 850/880 and Kodak 4680


    Bootrom version 1.7.0 and firmware version 2.0.13

    2.

    Make sure the bootrom/firmware version is as above indicated (if not, please upgrade firstly).

    3.

    Plug the cable into the decoder; make sure the golden finger on the cable is in the same direction as the golden
    finger on the decoder.

    4.

    Plug the decoder into the cable slot on the mainboard.
