Slide 1 & 2: MDI is a brand synonymous with quality management education.

It is a
stand-alone legacy among the premier management institutions of the country. The
objective is to go for a holistic development, to go beyond the limits of success.
With this MDI launched its second campus to leverage its identity further.
The vision inspires the creation of thought leaders with academic excellence & the
mission is to create quality management capabilities through value based
education.
The glorious journey began in 1973 with MDI society being formed by IFCI.
In 1994, PGPM was launched at MDI Gurgaon. Carrying on the legacy from MDI G,
the foundation stone for MDI Murshidabad was laid in 2010 and in 2014 PGPM
program is launched.

The PGP course spread over the span of 2 years is at par with MDI G.
19 Core subjects are offered in the first year followed by electives in the second
year in the areas of HR, Finance, Marketing & Operations.
We have a very rich array of faculty with vivid knowledge and industry experience

The knowledge of the faculties is not only restriced to the students but also
extended to various companies in the form of MDP(full form) like RBI, LIC, NABARD
and many others.

In 2015-17 : we have a diverse mix of students with more than 50% of the batch
from Engineerin g background and rest from BBA, Bcom and others like HM, aviation
2016-18: close to half the batch are engineers and others from BBA, BCom

2015-17: more than 40% of the batch have work experience ranging from 1 year to
5 yrs in the areas of IT, Energy, Financial Services & FMCG
2016-18: similarly , experience of 16-18 batch ranges from 1-6 yrs.

Our students are not only limited to classroom activities but also actively manage 4
dedicated clubs for each specialization.
The objective is to organize intra and inter college competitions, increase corporate
communication in the form of events and transmit knowledge in the form of
magazines and newsletters.
Markrone- the marketing club recently held a case study challenge in association
with BAXI at the national level. They have a bi-monthly newsletter titledmarketograph
The operations club, opcellence organized national level case study competitions.

Then we have the finance club-finartha with their magazine phoenix and is also
coming up with its own portfolio of different asset classes
Next is our HR club- HRudbhav which grandly organized an hr meet- Samanvaya in
2015. The topic of the event was agile HR.
Omilia is the round the year guest lecture series program.
Vicarana is the flagship event of CR committee in which various industry experts
and academicians share their knowledge on various themes.
We have student driven committees which aim to enhance skills for a holistic

In just 2 years our students have proved their mettle in various national level competitions from
colleges like NM, XIMB, IIM Udaipur, IIT Kharagpur and many more.
Many companies have shown trust in us and have gone on to recruit from our pilot batch, which
had companies like ICICI, Tata Tele, IPSOS and many others offering an average of close to 8
lacs and highest package of 10 lacs.
Profiles offered were from various industries like Financial Services, Marketing, consulting and
more.
Simultaneously we achieved phenomenal results in summer placements of 2nd batch with highest
stipend of 54000.

Our thirst for knowledge is not only limited to academics provided by college but it goes beyond
that in the form of Live Projects & certification courses in the areas of Digital Marketing, CFA,
CFP and supply chain

For gaining hands on experience of real problem, the concept of live project &
industry cantered courses are enthusiastically taken up by the students. We have
live projects from.and courses likeoffered in the college.
