The teacher will

present students
with multiplication
tables and will
make sure
students have a
basic
understanding of
the multiplication
properties.

Students will be
asked to practice
these ideas by using
mathplayground.co

methods provided in
the classroom.

The teacher will

have the whole
class gather
information about
themselves, such
as hair color,
where they were
born and other
information that
can be used to
calculate
statistics.

Students will be
asked to come up
with their own
questions to ask
others and create a
poll online that they
can have
classmates and
other people around
the school answer.
10 people should be
asked. After the
information is
gathered the class
will look at all the
data to see the
result.

Students will be
asked to create a
game based on one
set of multiplication
facts to help them
better understand
the concept.

Students must work

together to create an
accurate chart of the
information they have
gathered. They can
create this chart using
excel or a similar
system.

The teacher will

students a region

Students will

Students will be

game showing the
way each of these
animals grows into a
mature adult. They
should do this using
an animated tutorial
with questions that
classmates can
answer based on
the information they
know about the

Other
Reflection:
Using mobile learning in a classroom today seems like an extremely natural thing to do. Since we live in such a technological
world, many students are already familiar with many of the aspects that would be portrayed through mobile learning. I will be
using mobile learning often in my classroom because it is another way to assist more visual learners. Being a visual learner
myself my learning experience is much more effective if I am given the opportunity to interact and see a variety of ways to
approach each topic. I found it extremely interesting how many different apps and school resources could be found when simply
googling mobile learning ideas. I also thought it was interesting how often I am using mobile learning every day in my college
courses, without even realizing it. Mobile learning is an extremely valuable tool that should be used in any 21 st century classroom
to help students thrive in every subject and content area.
