Bidders may obtain further information from, and inspect and acquire the bidding documents, at the office of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, from Mr. Sunil Kumar Verma, Chief Engineer (NER) at Transport Bhawan, 1, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110001 Phone No. +811123739074 .4. __A complete set of bidding documents may be downloaded by interested eligible bidders from e tender portal during working hours from 10:00 on date of issue of letter to 17:00 hrs on 12.01.2014 (both days inclusive). The payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the form of Demand Draft from any scheduled Bank in favour of Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, New Delhi, payable at New Delhi, is required for submission of bid. If the documents are desired by post, an additional sum of Rs. 1000/- for dispatch of the documents anywhere in india should be sent. The Employer shall promptly dispatch the documents by courier, but under no circumstances it will be held responsible for late delivery or loss of the documents so mailed. 5. The bid documents are also available on morth website (http://www.morth.nic.in). Bidders, who download the bid documents from web site will be required to pay the non- refundable fee of Rs. 1,00,000/. (Rupees One Lacs only), by way of a crossed demand draft drawn in favour of “Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways", payable on any scheduled bank in New Delhi, at the time of submission of proposal. 6. __The bid must be accompanied by Bid Security of the amount specified in the above Table payable at New Delhi and drawn in favour of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, New Delhi. Bid Security will have to be in any one of the forms as specified in ITB (Instructions to Bidders). 7. The Bid must be delivered at the Address of Communication given below not later than 11:00 Hours on 13.01.2014. The Technical Bids will be opened at 11:30 Hours on 13.01.2014 at the address given below in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. In the event of specified date of bid submission/opening being declared holiday for the employer, the bids shall be received/opened on the next working day at the same place and the same time.
