As the growing population come to acquire its greater needs affecting natural
resources, tasked agencies aim to ensure that ecosystem services are protected
and maintained for future human generations. It also aims to maintain ecosystem
integrity by considering ethical, economic, and scientific variables by means of
environmental protection strategies.
The purpose of this lesson is to engage the learners in a school wide clean-up event.
Learners will be asked to participate and reflect on the activity by creating a
heightened awareness of community based environmental issues and how everyone
should be good stewards of the Earth.
The learner will:
