Magazine Cover Artist Statement

There werent many challenges in creating this photo. The main thing I faced was
deciding what kind of magazine cover to reproduce, and how to edit it. I decided to do some kind
of nature magazine. I also took a nice picture of a pond and then edited them together.
I was inspired by nature magazines. Nature and National Geographic were what I
was striving for. I wanted to make the text pop, and I think it does a good job of that. The
magazine cover almost looks like it is from the 70s, which I actually really like.
The main issue was just making everything mesh together well. The photo was lighted
just perfectly for the text to overlay well. Other than that, it was just coming up with names for
the magazine and articles. This project was overall not as difficult as the other ones Ive done so
far.
