Poetry & Photography Rubric

I chose to use a photo that I took during the Siskind project. I like it because of the
contrast between the sky and ground, though it is all in greyscale. The song I chose to quote from
is Blood Brothers by Iron Maiden. The choice was obvious, as it is one of my favorite songs.
The challenge in this photo was finding a picture and quote that match. I wanted to match
the somber mood of the image, so I went searching and realized that this song would match
perfectly. After that, I needed to find a font and size that worked. I went with a more simplistic
look.
This photo took a more personal meaning to me. I love the song that I quoted, and it
resonates with me quite a bit. I didnt want to do it any injustice, and I dont think I have. I think
that the meaning of the song and the picture fit well together, making the ideological
composition more complete.
